Five UPH Student Organizations Secure PPK Ormawa 2023 Grant Funding
Five Student Organizations at UPH have successfully secured a total funding of Rp192,000,000 through the 2023 Student Organization Capacity Building Program (PPK Ormawa) initiated
by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek).
The five UPH student organizations include: UPH Student Executive Board (BEM-UPH), UPH Pharmacy Student Association (HMPS Farmasi), UPH Chemistry Education Student Association (HMPS PK), UPH Social Science Education Student Association (HMPS PIPS), UPH Primary School Teacher Education Student Association (HMPS PGSD). Two UPH Biology Students Win Awards at ON-MIPA 2023
Jennifer Claudia Suryadi (Biology, 2020) and Jevon Aaron Lesmana (Biology, 2019), both enrolled in the UPH Biology Study Program, received accolades at the 2023 University-level Mathematics and Natural Sciences Olympiad (ON-MIPA PT) 2023, hosted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikburistek).
Jennifer earned a Silver Medal in Biology, while Jevon received an Honorable Mention in the same category. Notably, Jennifer is the sole representative from a private university to achieve a silver medal in this category. Both Jennifer and Jevon credited their success to the support of their lecturers. Students of UPH Biology - Win Awards at ON-MIPA 2023
UPH Architecture Team Wins First Place in Saint Gobain 2023 National Level
Acollaboration of three students and a lecturer from the Architecture program at UPH has achieved the top spot in the National Level of the prestigious Saint Gobain Competition (Architecture Student Contest 2023) on April 14, 2023. UPH team, consisted of Jessica Sanusi (2019), Vincent Alexis Sutjianto Tjia (2019), William Ferdinand (2020), and Jacky Thiodore, S.Ars., M.Arch has successfully conceptualized a revitalization project for an area in Lisbon, Portugal. UPH’s success at the national level has qualified them as the sole representatives of Indonesia, competing against representatives from 30 other countries in the international round held in Lisbon from June 26 to 28, 2023.
