This course discusses steps for conducting research, starting with concepts, approaches, methods and procedures in business research and tourism research. The material emphasizes on basic research concepts and practical applications of business research as well as tourism research, as well as preparation in building a tourism research design
TOURIST BEHAVIOR & TRENDS
This course discusses tourism consumer behavior, in this case tourists based on their understanding, concepts and behavioral theories to understand tourist behavior in choosing a destination or tourist activity. By understanding consumer behavior, the tourism industry players will be able to create and design a tourism activity that is in accordance with the wishes of tourists.
TOURISM SOCIOLOGY
This course will refer to the sociological study of Tourism, so that with an understanding of social aspects students can better understand tourism from a different perspective.
CROSS CULTURE KNOWLEDGE IN TOURISM
As a human-based industry, there will be interactions between people from different cultural backgrounds. This course aims to understand cultural differences, especially related to cultural values and human needs and perceptions that can help harmonious relations between people in tourism.

This subject discusses the steps to read and write a scientific articles under tourism topic. The process start from selecting the right topics, ranging from concepts, approaches, methods and procedures in the field of tourism.
