English & Academic Pathway Program
The English & Academic Pathway Program (EAPP) is a rigorous, immersive English language program for students who wish to improve their English proficiency and academic preparedness for university study.
Students study full-time on the Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) campus and live in on-campus dormitories with ITC and EAPP students.
The EAPP is the ideal option for students whose English ability is in the intermediate to high range, but who do not yet meet the English proficiency levels required for admission to the ITC or other English-medium programs. Minimum scores for entering ITC students on several prominent English tests are as follows:
IELTS (6.0 band) TOEFL iBT (70) Duolingo (110) CEFR (C1)
The curriculum consists of daily instruction and practice in the areas of Academic Reading, Academic Writing, Grammar, and Speaking/Listening, taught by experts in the field of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).
EAPP students live with and participate
in daily life with ITC students, including recreational, cultural, sport, and spiritual development activities and worship services.
The EAPP is an affordable program for motivated students to improve their English in a safe, supportive environment.
The cost for the EAPP program in 2023, including tuition, materials, Duolingo testing fee, dormitory, meals, student visa, and health insurance, is $6,200 USD.
