History
In 2004, Mr. Stephen Metcalfe, at the request of Mr. Johannes Oentoro, established UPH’s Sports Department and became its first director.
With support from Mr. James Riady, the department and its facilities, starting with the Sport Center, were developed. Over the years, it has grown into a key player in Indonesian sports, committed to excellence and glorifying God in all endeavors.
With achievements in national competitions, the dedicated team at UPH's Sports Department has consistently cultivated top-tier athletes and fostered a culture of excellence at the campus.
UPH Intercollegiate Teams represent UPH in college-level and national sports tournaments. Comprising student-athletes, these teams strive for excellence in both academics and sports, competing at national and international events while showcasing UPH's commitment to athletic and academic achievement.
Eagles Sport Academy offers sports programs for youth in the Lippo Karawaci community and surrounding areas. Open to students aged 6-18, the academy focuses on nurturing young athletes, helping them develop their skills and passion for the sports they love.
