Overview

After the collapse of large corporations due to fraud and weak internal control, the role of Good Corporate Governance in controlling companies/organizations for the benefit of stakeholders appears increasingly important. In the Indonesian context, we see that GCG is widely applied in the banking industry, state-owned companies and public companies. There are two big issues of GCG related to information technology, namely how to ensure that financial reports are produced in the way they should be, and the second is how to manage information technology itself so that the company avoids risks and there is harmony between businesses. and IT. Apart from that, many state institutions with large volumes of information flow have long used computer systems. Without good IT governance, there will be inefficiencies and possibly even system failure. Apart from all that, IT Governance training is to improve organizational performance, not just control.
