One way to improve the quality of education at Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) is through the expansion of international partnership. The embodiment of this way was through the partnership between UPH and Incheon National University (INU) in a form of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), a national university in Republic of Korea on 20 April 2015 at UPH Karawaci.

 

 

INU was represented by Dr. Chan Kuan Lee, Director of Global Excellence Program, Heechan Kang, Department of Economic Assistant Professor, and Young-hyo Ahn, International Trade Professor and UPH which was represented by Raymond Liu, UPH President and Budi Legowo, Vice President for Marketing, External Relation, and Business Development of UPH. Also attended in this event, Diena Lemy, Dean of Pelita Harapan School of Hospitality and Tourism (STPPH) and Amelda Pramezwary, the Head of Travel Industry Management Department.

 

 

This partnership initially started from the Global Excellence Program INU which was agreed on 15 January 2015 where a lecture from STPPH was cordially invited to INU with the topic of ?Travel and Hospitality Industry?. This special program will be held on 8-23 June 2015 in INU, Korea.

 

 

Moreover, this partnership will be strengthen not only for STPPH but also will prevail to all faculties at UPH. This 5-years MoU covers students exchange and faculty members visit, joint programs such as conferences and learning process, collaborative research, and exchanges of materials and publications as well as tuition fees.
