Artists Joined In the Festivity of UPH Festival 20 Closing Ceremony

The performance of ?Amazing Grace? by the 3 UPH lecturers with golden voice; Ridolf Hehanusa, Antonius Priyanto, dan Manlian A. Ronald (Trio R.A.M) started the music shows at UPH Festival 20 Closing Ceremony. With the accompaniment from Pop Orchestra UPH under Bobby A Limijaya conducting, Trio R.A.M awed many of audiences at UPH Soccer Field.

Chantika Abigail and Cassia Agata, active UPH students who pursue career in Indonesia music world joined in the show to add more excitement by performing famous songs such as Brave ? Josh Groban and Di Atas Awan ? Nidji. The excitement made the students to go near the stage and jumped together when Cassia sung Sheila on 7?s song, Melompat Lebih Tinggi. Pop Orchestra UPH with their wonderful performance also accompanied Cassia?s show.

With excitement that did not finish yet, next came the awaited performance by Dira Sugandi ? UPH Alumni with beautiful voice who have sung together with Andrea Bocelli in his premiere concert. ?It?s great to be back here,? said Dira expressing her gratitude. She felt very happy to be back in UPH to take part in the biggest UPH annual event ? UPH Festival. Dira sang two songs ? the first is Stand Up for Love from Beyonc? Knowles. For the second song, Dira asked all of the audience to sing together I Believe I Can Fly ? R. Kelly.

As the climax event of UPH Festival 20 Closing Ceremony, the six singers sang Gloria Estefan?s song together, Reach Higher. At the crescendo part of the song, the firework show made the night sky bright with the beautiful colors for several times. The firework show awed and stunned the audiences ? new students, students? parents, and all of UPH academic community. Thus, the end of UPH Festival 20 that ended with a big success and excitement.
