PT YIMM Cooperates with UPH to Study the Market of Yamaha Electric Motor

 Hendra Achmadi, gave a speech at the launch of Yamaha Motor Electric in Jakarta

 

UPH as one of the educational institutions focused on technological development welcomes PT Yamaha Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) to be an academic partner in the market study of Yamaha’s latest electric motor products. This cooperation was announced at the launching and testing of products in Jakarta, Wednesday, November 1, 2017.

 

The representatives of UPH in this event represented by the Director of UPH Consulting and Corporate Services, Hendra Achmadi and the Director of UPH Faculty of Science and Technology, Laurence. On the occasion, Hendra gave a speech and appreciated the cooperation with PT YIMM.

“This cooperation is a very positive start in the progress of the automotive industry in Indonesia. The development of electricity-based technology is certainly a priority for every industry as well as from the academics as its supporters. And we are pleased that in this aspect, UPH is given the opportunity to be able to collaborate with Yamaha in Indonesia, “said Hendra.

 

Meanwhile, on a separate occasion, YIMM Executive Vice President Dyonisius Beti expressed the expectation for UPH to provide various studies on products to be tested on UPH.

 

“Besides input from students who use the product, the lecturers can also make this product for research topics. Later we can get a complete input from various aspects, “said Dyonisius.

In addition to UPH, several institutions are also partnered by PT YIMM in this market study such as PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Indonesia, Bogor Botanical Gardens, and The Breeze BSD.

 

 

Through this cooperation, UPH expects good synergy between government, industry, academics, and also other institutions in the development of electric-based motor products in the future can produce the latest modes of transportation which have high efficiency and are environmentally friendly and have a real impact on people’s lives.
