Christine Sommers joined UPH in 2012 as a lecturer in the Faculty of Nursing. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Cedarville University, a master’s degree from the University of Washington, and a Ph.D. in nursing from the University of Kansas. Her doctoral research focused on teaching practices for culturally diverse nursing students.
With over 25 years of experience as an ICU nurse and educator, Christine is a certified nurse educator and CCRN Emeritus. She actively leads seminars for nurses and healthcare providers across Indonesia and internationally. Driven by her commitment to Christ, she strives to excel in teaching and make a positive impact wherever she serves.
