Indonesia Still Deficit 1 Million Blood Bags, UPH Held Blood Donation Regularly

?We hope that by continuing to hold the Blood Donation at the campus, everybody around us will be more aware of the importance of blood donation for themselves, others, and even for the wider society. To support it, BEM UPH together with Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Serang regency provides 14 beds. The target is 600 blood bags for 3 days of the event.? said Sylvia.

Sylvia emphasized the desire to target more than 600 bags, but because of the PMI limitedness in supporting this event, it can only target that total. However, the BEM UPH is optimistic that this event can give the contribution and precious benefit for many sides.

 

?I’m quite surprised to know the fact that Indonesia still lacks blood bags because from what I see that the enthusiasm of UPH students who donate their blood is quite high. But it proves that Blood Donating needs to be held. I, myself, have donated my blood twice in UPH and also twice in PMI. I think UPH The Blood Donation program is very good and it can help us who want to donate our blood but do not know the nearest PMI.?

 

?I think UPH Blood Donation program is very good, unfortunately, it is only held twice in a year. Maybe it will be better if the implementation can be augmented so that it can facilitate us who want to be the donators. I, myself, have donated my blood 10 times and I think it is important and good to be done. I?m glad that UPH becomes a campus that can facilitate us who want to help others through blood donation.?
