For the beginners, 5K Run must be hard. But this event was not intended to find a winner, but to motivate the participants to finish the run until the finish line. ?Five kilometers is an ideal range for beginners. There will be enough time for new students, senior students, rector, and lecturers to get to know each other. Through the run or walk together, they can get to know each other and talk about many things. This event is not only about physical but emotional relationship. The togetherness between the new students with senior students, lecturers, and staff of UPH will support the continuity of academic process,? Metcalfe said.

The students seemed to be very energetic and excited about the event. They really enjoyed this kind of sport event. The students even took pictures with Rector. That opportunity was used to get to know each other and greet each other between students and lecturers. Along the route, the senior students were cheering all participants.

All participants one by one arrived at the finish line. The disabled student, Elwen Suryadi, Management 2015, also arrived at the finish line. He proved his fighting spirit to finish what he started. His arrival was greeted warmly by fellow students and appreciated by Founder and senior management. (rh/nn)
