Students from Covenant College, US learned how to play Javanese Gamelan on 27 May 2015 with UPH staffs
Traditional music is one of Indonesia richness. Each music from different region produces different sound. This varieties do not only attract the locals to keep preserving traditional music of Indonesia, but also the foreigners to learn. 20 Covenant College students from USA had a chance to learn how to play Javanese Gamelan, which is owned by Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH), and were taught directly by the experts, who are also the staffs of UPH on 27 May 2015 at 1.30-3 pm. This event was organized by International Office and Conservatory of Music UPH. Let us see how the Gamelan lesson went through the documentations below.
