UNDIP Debate Team Won Consecutive Dr. Mochtar Riady Cup 2014

Law debate competition held in the event of Dr. Mochtar Riady Law Fair 2014 was completed on Friday, 14^th of March 2014. A total of 18 teams from various universities in Indonesia took part in the competition, which took place since last Thursday (3/13). The jury includes lecturers from UPH Faculty of Law, Jawade Haafiz (Head of Law Faculty UNISSULA Semarang), and legal professions including Yozua Makes (founder of Makes & Partners), J. Kristiadi (Board of Directors secretary of the CSIS Foundation) and several other legal practitioners.

Three teams made ??it into the semi-finals; the team from the University of Padjadjaran (Padjadjaran University), University of Indonesia (UI) and University of Diponegoro (UNDIP). Of the three teams, UI and UNDIP were head to head, competing fiercely in the finals to earn first prize and consecutive Dr. Mochtar Riady Cup 2014. Previously, UNPAD Law Faculty had the honor of taking the consecutive Dr. Mochtar Riady Cup 2013 home. This year, UNDIP Faculty of Law Debate Team won first prize and was able to take home the consecutive Dr. Mochtar Riady Cup 2014. Meanwhile UI took second place and UNPAD secured third place in the competition.
