Mr. Kenik Hassel of Microsoft, Redmond Office, USA, Visit to UPH

On Friday, 22 March 2013 was a historical moment for UPH, especially for Microsoft Innovation Center and Faculty of Computer Science UPH.

On Friday, 22 March 2013 was a historical moment for UPH, especially for Microsoft Innovation Center and Faculty of Computer Science UPH. We have a visit from Mr. Kenik Hassel as Worldwide Program Manager of Microsoft Innovation Center (MIC) from Microsoft Head Office in Redmond, WA, USA.
 
 
As MIC- Worldwide Program Manager, Mr. Hassel has been visiting most of MIC in South East Asia and Pacific during the mid March 2013. He is also Technical Evangelist of Emerging Business Team inMicrosoft Headquarter in USA. During his 3 days visit in Indonesia, he visited MIC in Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Universitas Indonesia (UI) and UPH.
Mr. Hassel given his best compliments to MIC UPH for commitments in developing programs ( for education and research) and he given some advise, hints and also his support for upcoming MIC UPH developments program. As a senior management member of Microsoft HQ in USA, Mr. Hassel is also sharing some experience from other MIC in South America, India, Thailand, Australia and also another part of the world.
 
 
During his short visit, Mr. Hassel has some opportunities to walk around UPH campus facilities and also around Lippo Village, Karawaci. As he giving the compliments for what MIC and Faculty of Computer Science UPH does, he expecting that students and faculty member would increase in the utilization of MIC facilities. He encourage UPH to produce more qualified students as IT professionals as the worldwide IT job market demands are growing faster than ever before.
