Dual Degree Agreement Between La Trobe University (Australia) and UPH

On Tuesday, October 23, 2012, six representatives of La Trobe University came to Pelita Harapan University in order to review the dual-degree program mutual partnership. On this occasion, both sides have also signed a renewed agreement for the program. Professor John Rosenberg, Senior Deputy Vice–Chancellor and Vice President of LTU, along with Raymond Liu, President of Pelita Harapan University, acted on behalf of their respective institution.

Pelita Harapan University offers a dual-degree program for its students at La Trobe University (LTU), which is a Melbourne-based, multi-campus university and one of the leading universities in terms of research and teaching higher education.

This dual-degree program has sprung from the objective to improve a student’s academic expertise, life experience, and global perspective by sending them to study abroad. A participant of this program will spend a total of six semesters at Pelita Harapan University and two semesters at La Trobe University. Upon graduation, student will earn two undergraduate degrees, i.e. Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of International Business from LTU as well as Sarjana Ekonomi from UPH. (rh)
