UPH Center for Business Law Studies (Pusat Studi Hukum Bisnis) in cooperation with Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal (BKPM) or Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board hosted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the topic of Indonesia?s foreign investment policy. The event took place at UPH Graduate Campus in Semanggi on Thursday, 22 March 2012. Invitees including legal practitioners and lecturers, UPH graduate business law students, as well as representations from UPH?s CBLS. The presentation made by Natalia Ratna Kentjana, the Deregulation Director from BKPM, the attendants engaged proactively in an intellect discussion regarding BKPM?s prospect in Indonesia?s investment policy as well as the current trends and challenges faced in foreign investment in Indonesia today. Supported by up-to-the-minute statistic charts and informative explanation straight from the BKPM?s Deregulation Director, the two-hour session was an educative success enriching legal practitioners and students? knowledge towards Indonesia?s foreign investment in general.
